So, my parents have this thing where everything on television is pretty much trash (which it is, but i still like to watch it). So i have been getting movies from the library that i think we will all like, cause most evenings i'm sitting at home watching t.v. with my parents. So the thing we all like are mysteries. The BBC kind based on Agatha Christie books and the like. so, (i'm gonna see how many sentences i can start with that word), i make at least once a week trips and try and find something acceptable. Sometimes dad and i catch on pretty quick. I'm also beginning to sound like them, at least in my internal dialogue.
It's kind of an intersting study of the British heirarchy. Apparently most of the detectives have these unknown sources of income, or they are some sort of nobility, that have all the time in the world to go galavanting all over the countryside figuring out whodunit. And a majority of them rely on their hired help as their sidekicks. The British humor that pervades is amazing. They are so cynical and sarcastic. my favorite line, said from one Lord Something-or-other to a secretary whom he was thanking, "May your shadow never grow bulkier." somehow i don't see that going over too well here in america.
sorry this is kind of rambling and rather bad writing, so to anyone who suffered through reading this, May your shadow never grow bulkier!
Random Thought: If carrots make flamingos more pink, would blueberries make them blue and purple?

You lovely person! I have been trying all day to remember how that rather offensive phrase went, and all google would give me before I found you was the original arabic blessing. Thanks to you, I remembered the scene in the film, where Lord Peter thanks one of his side-kicks. Nicely written piece, by the way, had he been a person in real life, he would have adored you too!
